Topsoil

Screened topsoil has been passed through a screen to take out stones, roots and debris. It is the material for lawns, garden beds and the finished layer over new grading. Unscreened topsoil has not been through that step and suits bulk grading, where what is in it matters less than the volume.

Natural Stone Source Ontario supplies both on request. Measure the area and the depth, use the calculator below to get the volume in cubic yards, and send us that figure with your address. We confirm availability, price and delivery before anything is booked. Topsoil settles after it is placed and watered, so say whether the depth you measured is the finished depth.
